Some of us have access to our own GPT4 (or any model) of OpenAI's keys.
Seeing what you guys did with the ChatGPT with GHL, you guys are literally charging 1400% more than what you're paying for it (gpt3 base model is $.002, GHL is $.03!!!)
that being said, let us use our OWN API keys. history repeats itself, so i could only imagine what the mark up would be for GPT4! (3 cents for GPT4 from API Key, $0.45 if the same percentage carried over)
i understand making a profit, but 14x profit?

I think it'd be way better it the conversation ai could use openai's engine instead of the default one (by us bringing our own openai api key), that way the chatbot would be capable of parsing from the knowledge base, respond even fast, and even be capable of understanding voice notes (Whatsapp and Instagram), and be capable of replying in it's own voice (An Even Better Feature), and be capable of understanding images and files and even more through OpenAi Engine

The knowledge base parsing definitely needs work. Our clients notice when the AI forgets context from uploaded docs mid-conversation, even with that 20 message history.

We have moved to token based pricing.
so we will charge at market rates.
So GHL is now charging since october 2025 the same rate as LLM service provider based on token.
No additional charge.
feel free to schedule a call with me incase of doubt
ofcourse agency can add rebilling. so that is also supported.

Absolutly!! this cost limits us to work only with the unlimited plan which does not give us the option to compete with other platform who charges small business way less.

the cost of the A.I. message makes the service very expensive, making it totally unfeasible. In Brazil, everything is done by WhatsApp all the time for everything, nobody uses SMS, and the cost of GHL is 10 times higher than my most expensive competitors. It is not feasible to use or attempt to sell in Brazil.

I'd love if we could use our own trained custom GPTs from our own OpenAI account. I'm trying to create a chat bot and it's very frustrating because it doesn't follow the instructions. Working with ChatGPT directly is so much easier. I give it the info about my business and give it a simple prompt and it just works. But with HighLevel's AI chat bot, it's very frustrating because it doesn't follow the same kind of logic that ChatGPT normally would and it does not work as well.

Better yet, Let us set our own endpoints as well. GPT4.5 is 75 in, 150 out. This is a horrible implementation and once again this proprietary software is stopping us from innovating.
I hope GHL can realize they can just make their platform free (Like Wordpress) and make money off the marketplace. I am willing to do add these fixes in myself for everyone to benefit from but I cant even talk to a dev.
This software is so inspiring, but yet so disappointing.

Would be great to have the option to bring our own API keys and make it customizable to be set to a fine-tuned model if we have done so in the respective foundational model's platform, which would bypass GHL's AI model.
Also would be nice to rebill usage of our own API keys within GHL depending on token use.
