Add the pages UTM tracking where they initiated the live chat from so we can see where visitors have came from. This is especially essential when people are using AI, so we know if a client converts what ad platform and campaign they came from.

WHile source identification can be done via sms/email and Ai chat, live chat does not have that capability. While understanding the constraints, it would be possible to at least track the Live Chat widget id ie: https://widgets.leadconnectorhq.com/chat-widget/loader.js"
data-widget-id="66a734b29fxxxxxxxxxx" and this "66a734b29fxxxxxxxxxx" could then be used in Automations and work flows to know the source and add tags etc.

Current live chat does not pass any attribution back to the CRM so we have no way of knowing where the contact came from.

The fact that forms capture UTMs but chat doesn't is wild. We're missing attribution data on some of our best conversations because of this gap.

Same issue here. We can't track which campaigns or pages are actually driving chat conversations. Makes reporting to clients pretty tough.

We've got clients with multiple widgets on different pages and it's impossible to tell where conversations started. The widget ID tracking makes perfect sense since the data is already there.

Yeah, if forms are able to auto-populate utm params, then widget forms should also be able to. This should be a quick fix. It's also essential.
