Currently, gift cards in GoHighLevel work well for online checkout, where the balance is automatically deducted. However, there is no way to handle partial or full redemptions made in person (for example, at a restaurant or physical location).
If a customer redeems part of a gift card on-site by showing the code, the amount used is not deducted from the original balance in the backend. As a result, the same gift card code can still be reused online.
It would be extremely helpful to have backend controls that allow:
=> Manually deducting a specific amount from a gift card balance
=> Disabling a gift card at any time (to prevent further use)
This would give businesses better control, prevent misuse, and make gift cards practical for both online and offline use cases.

Right now, gift cards can only be used as a code/discount during an online checkout. Many of my clients are physical stores, so they need a way to accept a gift card in person and mark it as “used” (redeemed) when the customer pays at the counter.
Ideally, this would be a simple Redeem / Mark as Used action inside HighLevel (web and mobile app), where staff can enter or search the gift card code and redeem it instantly.
QR code could be a nice secondary option: adding a QR code to the gift card/certificate would make scanning faster, but the key need is being able to redeem the gift card inside HighLevel for in-store payments.
This would:
Allow local businesses to accept gift cards offline/in-store, not only online
Reduce fraud and reuse of codes
Create a smoother checkout experience for staff and customers

Making Gift card payment available in a form where the collect payment form field is used would make this work as a quick fix. Vendor could create a simple form page and enter card Code and the amount that needs to be deducted from the card then submit just like the client would in a shopping cart purchase. Currently gift cards can only be used on fixed prices. being able to use on a variable price "product" kind of like a donation would be a workaround.
