Currently if an affiliate sends us a lead and they don't buy anything in that funnel, but then if the lead buys a few days later from a different funnel, they are not tracked as a commission to that affiliate (even if it's for the same product). We want to change this so that if an affiliate sends us a lead that buys days, weeks or months later, they can still get rewarded for sales that may come through a different funnel or page from promos on our email list.

100% agree with this! It's a basic function of ALL affiliate market CRM systems. Why wasn't this considered in the first place?

YES - this is exactly the discussion I just had with GHL support, and they wanted me to put it in the ideas board. Happy to see you guys already added it.
It is VERY COMMON for affiliate programs to offer a lead magnet, for example, and then have the vendor (us) do all the marketing via email followup (long term nurture emails), and then we need to credit the original affiliate when the sale is made in another funnel.
We can't even manually record commissions for them because we sell a recurring revenue subscription.
This needs to be fixed.
