We need the ability to make certain fields required. The fact that GHL doesn't have this is a huge drawback to almost every other basic CRM. There are so many use cases for wanting certain field to be required on update or creation of both opportunities and contacts

Definitely, this is so frustrating. I would like to have the ability to display both email and phone # in the chat widget, and give the user the option to input one or the other not both!

100%. We also need the ability to select whether a default field is required or not, or the ability to delete it. For example, the current DOB field - it has to be there, I can't remove it so I end up moving it to a folder they don't use much but it's a huge inconvenience to not be able to decide if we want to use that field or not.

How can you control data quality without required fields????? I am so confused as to why this is not just a basic feature with all supposed CRMs.
