Enable Trigger Links/Triggers to work in Funnel pages for tracking purposes

We would like to track users that click on buttons within funnel pages - similar to how the trigger links and triggers work for SMS and Emails. It would be helpful to be notified if someone was clicking on a button through a funnel page.

THIS SHOULD JUMP ALL THE LINE AND BE DONE FOR YESTERDAY! 
We need to be able to set buttons as conversions. That way we can see which salespage are driving more traffic to the checkout page. 
With that data, we can know which titles, pictures and content convert more!

This request is FOUR YEARS OLD! Does anyone know if this has been implemented? When I'm on the funnel page I still only see "Page Views" and no data related to Clicks. We have no way of knowing if a funnel page is working without click data, when we're sending them to a third-party site which others have already mentioned in this thread. Please please please prioritize this, or let me know where I can find Click data if it's already been implemented.

Basically Trigger Links need to be able to track known customers based on IP address. Once GHL creates this feature, it should work on all websites. GHL just needs to track/store IP address information.

Robert Wazlavek yeah it's crazy that it works if you install the LeadConnector app on your Wordpress site, but not in the GHL funnels themselves. In the contact activity you can see "Visited PAGE" which works perfectly for wordpress pages.

This is a must, guys. We need to segment users based on actions they take on funnels, which take them OUTSIDE of our GHL pages. If the clicks were directing user to a different GHL page, we would use the pageview trigger to segment, but since we're sending them to external websites, we need to be able to track the actual link.

This is pretty basic functionality to track leads through a funnel where we are sending them to a page hosted elsewhere.
