Feature Request: "Last Manual Email Sent" Date Field for Contacts
🚨 Feature Request: "Last Manual Email Sent" Date Field for Contacts The Problem: There is currently no way to track when a user last manually sent an email to a contact. Workflow email triggers only fire for automated emails — manual emails sent from the conversation view are completely invisible to automations and reporting. This creates a major blind spot in sales activity tracking. Why This Matters: Sales teams rely on manual, personal emails as their primary outreach tool. Without knowing when a rep last manually emailed a contact, there's no way to: Identify contacts that have gone cold and need follow-up Hold reps accountable for outreach activity Build re-engagement automations based on email inactivity Accurately measure sales touchpoints per contact What We're Asking For: A native "Last Manual Email Sent" date/time field that auto-updates on the contact record whenever a user sends a manual email from the conversation view A corresponding workflow trigger — "Manual Email Sent" — so automations can fire based on this event Visibility of this field in smart list filters, contact views, and reporting The Impact: This single field would unlock smarter follow-up automation, better sales rep accountability, and more accurate contact engagement tracking — without any manual effort from the team. This is table-stakes functionality for any sales-focused CRM and would significantly improve how teams manage outbound communication. Please prioritize! 🙏
